Email Subscription Cha-Cha-Changes

Dear Stitcherati Friends & Family:

Hello loyal email subscribers! Just a little housekeeping here. I wanted to let you know that the email subscription service I have been using, Feedburner (owned by Google), is phasing out sometime in October.

What does that mean? Well…if you’d like to continue to receive my blog posts via email, you’ll need to resubscribe. It’s annoying, I know. Unfortunately Feedburner has had a little hiccup over the weekend and has deleted everyone’s subscription info.

So if you would be so kind, please mosey over to the “Subscribe to The Stitcherati” on the right sidebar and enter your email address. On the positive side, the new email subscription service I’m now using has some customization options.  You can now:

  • Choose how often you’d like to receive emails – daily or weekly
  • Select specific categories you’d like to receive (Ex: Crafts only)
  • Opt to receive blog posts in full or in excerpt format

If emails are cluttering your inbox and you follow multiple blogs, I do suggest using Bloglovin’ as a blog reader. You might have seen the Bloglovin’ widget in the sidebar and that’s actually how I keep up with other blogs. I receive one email daily that lists all the blogs that have posted that day with excerpts and a little thumbnail. Their layout is pretty too!

Thank you all for subscribing! TTFN – ta ta for now!
